Just a few days ago, Windows released an update that changed the sound properties back to the default, so if you just started experiencing this issue, it could be caused by that patch. And no more reboots!! The trick is to go into the Windows sound properties and change your sample rate to match whatever you're using in Ableton. Now, I can run iTunes, YouTube, SoundCloud, MediaPlayer, and Ableton, pretty much anything, simultaneously and in any order. I would get no sound from the other apps until then. I guess I'll be buying a second Guitar Port.
